BC-SPCA Vancouver: Snow

By ArbutusWest, on Wednesday, January 20th, 2016

Allow me to introduce myself! I’m SNOW – a 5 Year old male Domestic Short Hair Cat, currently sheltered at the VANCOUVER SPCA.

Snow here! This silly boy entertains everyone he meets. He has an infectious purrsonality that is sure to keep you laughing and have your heart melting simultaneously. When we tell you that he’s special needs, you probably won’t believe us. Snow is completely deaf and significantly vision impaired. He’s likely been this way since birth, so he’s well-adapted. In fact, he chases those pesky pipe cleaner toys around better than the average feline. When his bum gets wiggling he almost always lands on his unsuspecting pipe cleaner target. Snow was transferred on our “Drives for Lives” program from Abbotsford in hopes of finding the purrfect home where he can knead to his heart’s content. Our boy needs a safe indoor home with no other pets or small children as these can be scary for him since he might not see or hear them coming. His guardians will beed to find other ways to communicate with him. With Snow not being able to hear, his vocal abilities are quite impressive and his meow “hello” might be a little louder at times. Drop by the Vancouver SPCA and visit Snow today!
